HeartGard Plus is a chewable medication made by Merial, it is used as a monthly preventative against heartworm and controls 3 species of hookworms and 2 species of roundworms. It kills heartworms in the larvae stage and prevents possible serious damage to your dog.
Tri-Heart Plus contains two active ingredients, Ivermectin and Pyrantel pamoate. Both these ingredients interfere with the parasite’s nerve transmission, causing paralysis and death of the intestinal worms.
